Each programme is tailored to meet specific needs in the community, helping Gugulethu thrive through compassion, education, and support.
Join Us
Objective: Provide nutritious meals to at least 4,000 individuals in need per month, increase food distribution channels to reach remote areas in Gugulethu, and offer nutrition education workshops to promote healthy eating habits.
Target Groups: Children aged 5-18 from low-income families, elderly individuals and pensioners, people with disabilities, individuals on chronic medication, new mothers, and pregnant single parents.
Activity Details: The programme includes meal preparation and cooking, food distribution to participants, nutrition education workshops, and kitchen maintenance and cleaning.

Objective: Provide academic support to disadvantaged children, offer a safe environment for at least 50 children daily, improve academic performance by 25% through tutoring, offer enrichment activities to 80% of children, and foster community among children and parents through events.
Target Group: Children aged 5-13 from low-income families and those struggling academically.
Activity Details: Activities include homework assistance, tutoring, support with class projects, reading comprehension exercises, and educational play.

Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: 29 NY 144, Gugulethu
Objective: Support at least 50 survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) with counseling and resources, conduct awareness campaigns reaching 2,000 community members, train staff and volunteers on GBV response, and establish partnerships with local organizations for referrals.
Target Group: Young adults, faith leaders, men and boys as allies, GBV survivors, and the general public.
Activity Details: Activities include GBV awareness workshops, counseling for survivors, training sessions for staff, and community outreach programs.

Time: 2:00 PM
Location: Gugulethu Library
Objective: Educate 1,500 community members on climate change impacts, collaborate with local organizations on initiatives, and organize quarterly clean-up events.
Target Group: Children and youth aged 9 to 18 from the community.
Activity Details: Activities include community clean-ups, educational workshops on climate change, and collaborations with local environmental groups.
Date: Last weekend of every quarter
